Rumors and speculations abound, according to sources, that EPRDF might shock the entire country by announcing the election of Azeb Mesfin as Chairwoman of EPRDF when they convene in September 2009.
True, Ethiopia has never had a woman leader in its long existence as a nation. With its complete lack of sense, though, no one should be surprised if EPRDF were to see Madam Azeb as an acceptable compromise choice to the core circles of front runners.
